We participated in the Souvenir Expo Greece fair held in Athens between January 9-11, 2025 and introduced Souvenir Expo Turkey. Organized for 40 years, Souvenir Expo Greece- Parousies fair is a fair where touristic souvenir shops operating in touristic regions in the Greek domestic market place their annual orders.
Souvenir Expo Greece- Parousies
Greece has a strong market in the touristic souvenir sector. Organized on an area of 28,000 m2, the fair is a fair where more than 800 manufacturers and wholesalers who want to offer products to the Greek market open stands every year and offer their products to the Greek domestic market.
As the fair is an important meeting place for Greece’s domestic market of touristic, souvenir and souvenir goods, we had the opportunity to observe that shops from all touristic regions of Greece flocked to the fair.
Souvenir Expo Turkey Introduced Our Fair
Our Country Manager Mehmet Dükkancı, Sales Manager Dilara Can, Sales Managers Güner Körün and Burcu Yapça and Marketing Specialist Elif Köse visited the fair in Athens.
During the visit, our team visited the leading wholesale exhibitors of the fair and invited them to visit our fair, which will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center between 4-6 December 2025.
We also invited leading touristic souvenir manufacturers in Greece to take part in our Souvenir Expo Turkey in Istanbul.
On Friday, January 10, 2025, Hamdi Tatci, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Athens, Mümin Hasan, Secretary General of the Counsellor’s Office and Specialist Ufuk Saraçoğlu Melas visited the Turkish exhibitors participating in the fair.
Greece Market and Our Observations
The souvenir sector in Greece is particularly strong in tourist products, handmade accessories and designs with traditional motifs. Here are some of the trends we observed:
- Increased interest in natural and handmade products,
- Local motifs and traditional patterns are at the forefront,
- The popularity of products made with sustainable materials.
These trends offer significant opportunities for exhibitors at Souvenir Expo Turkey. We have observed that Turkish manufacturers can attract great interest in the Greek market with their customizable designs, fast production capacity and wide product range.
